Do Christians Want to Convert Jews?
Christians have no interest in turning Jews into Gentiles or in eradicating the Jewishness of the Jews. Our sole mission is to reach the whole world - Jewish and Gentile - with the Good News of the Messiah of Israel.
For a Jew to become a Christian is neither a matter of rejecting the covenants of God nor a matter of disassociating oneself from Abraham. To become a Christian is to enter into the New Covenant of God promised in the prophets. (See Jeremiah 31:31-34). It means to receive the gift of Messiah's righteousness, which we could not attain through our own Torah-observance. It means to become a child of Abraham in spirit as well as in the flesh.
