A thirty-two year veteran of pastoral ministry, David served congregations in Vermont, England, Nova Scotia, and Ontario. In August, 2002, He assumed leadership of the work of The Toronto Jewish Mission at New Covenant House.David is an ordained Baptist pastor, having been set apart for gospel ministry at the Ira Baptist Church in Ira, Vermont in April, 1973.
David's theological training includes a diploma from New Brunswick Bible Institute (1970; New Brunswick, Canada), an M.T.S. from Central Baptist Seminary (1993; Ontario, Canada), and an M.Min. from Briercrest Biblical Seminary (1999; Saskachewan, Canada).
His personal theological convictions are best described as reformed and baptistic.
